Brussels
Home of the European Parliament. Wonderful architecture, and a compact layout. We arrived, traveled out to our hotel in the ‘burbs, and started walking until we found ourselves at Grand Place. Well worth a flying weekend visit; walk, drink excellent beers, have a waffle*, eat frite speciale in the middle of the night between bars, and definitely visit the flea market!
*Note the locals don’t, but they are delicious!
M&S AW 12
This bathroom shot really grabbed my attention. Love the bright colours against a classic neutral background.

Neon vinegar lamp
Handmade lamp shade, cut, etched with geometric print and paint dipped. Yup, I still have an obsession with giving used glass a new purpose. Throws a fantastic diffused warm light, ideal for hanging at low level for feature areas of a room.
And the cable in pank!
I might create a few more for sale, each will feature a unique pattern, glass cut and paint effect. Available via my Etsy store when finished!
Ecletica Escola de Musica
This music school is based in a traditional building in Nova Prata, Brazil. See below for a few teaser images. The lighting scheme looks fantastic, making best use of the 3.4m ceiling height but keeping the rooms in proportion. Even though the fittings are standard white holders, the scheme still works, presumably designed to be around long after we have forgotten about colourful flexes again.

Extensive use of particleboard keeps the environment feeling fresh and young, and I love that the electrical outlets/sockets are located on exposed cable trunking.

Perfect weekends
i.e. those without rain!
Picturesque ruins of Bradgate House, Leicestershire. Also famous for its deer- though I wasn’t brave enough to request a photo with one.
Tin tote pans- fantastic storage. Follow the link for a few more great interior pics.
The OCD in me is crying out for permission to bleach those towels white though.
